A Naples man was charged with driving while intoxicated after his vehicle was spotted in a ditch by the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident involving Ronald Hey happened on Upper Hill Road in the town of Middlesex.
Hey was charged with operating a motor vehicle with .08 of 1% or more of alcohol in his blood, driving while intoxicated and moving from lane unsafely.
Hey will answer the charges in Middlesex Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
