The Yates County Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of 61-year-old James Brennan of Naples on an arrest warrant.
Brennan is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing. Authorities say the charge stems from an alleged physical altercation on October 1 with another individual on public state lands in the Town of Italy.
Brennan was transported to the Yates County Public Safety Building to await arraignment in CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
