Canandaigua Police arrested a Naples man on a bench warrant issued out of Canandaigua City Court.
The warrant was issued for 36-year-old Jeramiah Mendez after he allegedly failed to appear in City of Canandaigua Court on August 28th for a criminal contempt charge.
Mendez was sent to the Ontario County Jail following his arrest for arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
