A Naples man is facing multiple charges after a domestic incident in Ontario County earlier this week.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested Patrick Hicks on Tuesday and charged him with third-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.
Investigators say Hicks damaged at least $400 worth of property and prevented the victim from calling 911 during the incident.
Hicks was taken into custody, processed at the Ontario County Jail, and appeared in CAP Court on Wednesday morning, where he was released on his own recognizance. An order of protection was issued for the victim.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
