A Naples man has been arrested following a domestic dispute that occurred earlier this month in the Town of Walworth.
Deputies say 44-year-old Ronald Bishop was taken into custody after an investigation revealed that during a physical altercation on July 2, he allegedly placed his hands around the victim’s neck and applied pressure.
Bishop is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree harassment. He was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and held for CAP court proceedings.
An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim. Bishop is scheduled to appear in Walworth Town Court for future proceedings.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
