A motorcyclist has been charged for his role in an accident that happened on October 19th at the intersection of Kelsey and Brandt Roads in the town of Galen.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, William Lyman was involved in a motorcycle crash where his bike was struck in the rear by another motorcycle. Lyman was injured in the crash and blood was secured at the hospital to determine his blood alcohol content. The results recently came back from the lab and Lyman was a .08 BAC.
Lyman was arrested Monday on charges of driving while intoxicated and was released following arraignment to appear in Galen Town Court in January.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
