A motorcyclist involved in a collision with another motorcycle in Wayne County back in October has been arrested.
Charles Davenport, Senior, was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday on driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operator, felony DWI, operating out of class, speeding, following too closely, operating without an interlock device and open container charges.
These charges against Davenport stem from an October 19th accident in which he collided with a second motorcyclist on Kelsey Road in Galen. Both motorcyclists suffered injuries.
Davenport was brought to Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
