A Tioga County man is facing charges in Seneca Falls after allegedly leading police on a pursuit where he reached speeds of more than 100 miles per hour.
On May 24th, police were alerted to a motorcycle traveling on East Bayard Street at a high rate of speed. When police spotted the motorcycle, officers say they witnessed its operator, 24-year-old Luke Reeves, of Owego, fail to stop for a stop sign. Police activated their lights and sirens for a traffic stop but Reeves sped away in excess of 100 MPH.
Reeves was later located and charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, speeding, failure to obey a police officer, reckless driving, unlawful fleeing, and obstruction of governmental administration.
Reeves was released on an appearance ticket for Seneca Falls Town Court.
