A motorcyclist was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital following an accident in Yates County.
According to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office, Brian Jones, of Millport, was turning south off Dundee-Glenora Road when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed on the west side of the road.
Jones suffered injuries to his face and was taken to Rochester by Mercy Flight. His passenger suffered minor injuries to her leg and arm and was taken to Schuyler Hospital by Dundee Ambulance.
Jones was eventually charged with drunken driving and a further investigation into the accident is pending.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
