A Greece, New York man was arrested Thursday by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office on a bench warrant issued out of Ontario County Court.
Dakota Porteus was arrested on the warrant alleging he violated his probation after being located at a North Main Street address in the village of Naples.
The 30-year-old was transported to the Ontario County Jail where he remained in custody on pre-arraignment detention and will appear before CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
