Monroe County Man Accused of Forgery in Seneca Falls

SHARE NOW

A 33-year-old Monroe County man was arrested Wednesday afternoon in connection with an alleged forged check scheme in Seneca Falls.

Seneca Falls Police say Michael Desino, of Greece, was taken into custody on a felony arrest warrant charging him with second-degree forgery, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, and fourth-degree grand larceny.

According to police, Desino is accused of altering information on a stolen check and then cashing it at a local bank in Seneca Falls. Desino was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment in Seneca County CAP Court.

The Monroe County Probation Department assisted Seneca Falls Police with the arrest.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
