The Yates County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 47-year-old Middlesex woman following the investigation into an incident that happened on Wednesday.
Jacquelyn Jackson is accused of subjecting another town of Middlesex resident to unwanted physical contact causing injury. Jackson is also accused of damaging property that did not belong to her.
Jackson was charged with assault and criminal mischief and was brought to the Yates County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
