On Sunday, Timothy Lafler, age 64, of Middlesex, was arrested by Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies following a larceny investigation in the town of Tyre.
The arrest follows an incident that allegedly occurred on February 21 at a local business. Investigators claim that Lafler stole $500 from another individual while at the establishment.
Lafler was charged with Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor. He was processed at the Seneca County Correctional Facility and released on an appearance ticket. Lafler is scheduled to appear in Tyre Town Court on April 28 to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
