A traffic stop in Ontario County Saturday night resulted in the apprehension of a Michigan man who had a full extradition warrant out of Sandusky County, Ohio.
Musid Aljahmi was arrested without incident during the traffic stop on County Road 10 in the town of Hopewell after he was allegedly spotted driving with no headlights on while it was raining just before 10 Saturday night.
Aljahmi was wanted in Ohio for marijuana possession and trafficking charges.
The 33-year-old was sent to Ontario County Jail to await extradition.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
