A Mentz man is facing charges after threatening a person last month during a domestic incident.
According to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a domestic complaint just before 8:00p on June 30 where they observed Tyler Mayorga swinging a wooden 2×4 in the direction of the victim.
Mayorga was charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. Following his arraignment on July 1, he was released.
An order of protection was issued to protect the victim from Mayorga.
