A Tompkins County man is facing multiple felony charges after his arrest Saturday evening in Ithaca.
According to police, officers responded to the 100 Block of College Avenue just before 5:00p for the report of an apartment that had been burglarized. The callers told officers that a man had been standing in their driveway next to a grey minivan who could be connected to the incident.
Larry Stanton Jr was located shortly after and arrested after he was found in possession of stolen property. A search of his minivan turned up additional items taken from the apartment.
The 34-year-old McLean man was charged with two counts of Grand Larceny and one count each of Burglary and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, all felonies.
Following his arraignment, Stanton was taken to Tompkins County Jail without bail.
