Marion Woman Accused of Punching, Biting Another Woman

The investigation into a family trouble incident in Wayne County Sunday resulted in the arrest of a 59-year-old Marion woman.

It is alleged that during a domestic incident, Rhonda Werner attacked another woman following a verbal altercation and struck the victim in the face multiple times, and then bit the back of her resulting in broken skin, a distinct bite mark, and some bruising.

Werner was charged with assault, harassment, and aggravated family offense.

An order of protection was requested by the victim.
