The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Town of Marion man following the investigation of a trespass complaint.
Deputies arrested 39-year-old Ryan Lawliss on a charge of third-degree criminal trespass. Authorities allege that Lawliss entered the Marion Speedway after previously being banned from the property following an earlier incident.
Law enforcement located Lawliss at his residence and transported him to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing.
He was later released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Marion Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
