The Yates County Sheriff’s Office reports it took custody of Max Barron after he was detained by the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding warrant.
Barron was wanted on a charge of Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the Town of Benton.
The 27-year-old was transferred to a Yates County Sheriff’s Deputy and transported to the Yates County Jail, where he was held pending Centralized Arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
