A man who threatened to kill himself and his passenger by driving his car off a road in Wayne County and striking a tree at a high rate of speed back in January was arrested Wednesday.
It is alleged that while driving the car, 39-year-old Joshua Lawliss, of Canandaigua, also pulled the hair of his female passenger, which prevented her from getting out of the car as she requested.
Lawliss has been charged with aggravated family offense, unlawful imprisonment, reckless endangerment and harassment. An order of protection was granted to the victim.
