One man is facing multiple charges after a Saturday afternoon car crash in Cayuga County.
State Police report responding to a one-car motor vehicle accident around 12:45p in the area of State Route 5 and Oakleaf Drive in Brutus. Upon arrival, they found Gregory Church unconscious behind the wheel of a vehicle He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Narcan was administered by responding EMS personnel to the 54-year-old Ogdensburg man who became responsive and was then taken to Auburn Community Hospital.
During their investigation, police found 56.3g of cocaine inside the vehicle.
After his release from the hospital, Church was arrested on two felony counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and a misdemeanor count of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. He was then taken to Cayuga County Jail for arraignment.
