A Bath man has been charged with criminally negligent homicide following the discovery of a dead body in a village motel.
The victim, a 49-year-old woman, was found dead in her room at the Super 8 last Thursday morning. An investigation determined the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death to be suspicious. 49-year-old Richard Seager, of Bath was arrested on the felony charge on Friday.
Seager was sent to Steuben County Jail following his arraignment.
