The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 23-year-old man on two active bench warrants.
The warrants for Kyle Carey’s arrest were issued out of Ontario County Court and City of Canandaigua Court for allegedly failing to appear on the charges of petit larceny and burglary.
Carey was taken into custody without incident and taken to the Ontario County Jail for pre-arraignment detention.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
