A Rochester man was taken into custody Thursday after failing to appear in court on an outstanding case.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that Stephan Leach was arrested on a bench warrant issued by Canandaigua Town Court.
Leach was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment in CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
