After it is alleged he drove off the road and into a ditch, a local man has been arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Following the property damage, 37-year-old Cameron Bowers of Syracuse was arrested Saturday evening at State Route 96 and West Blaine Road in the Town of Romulus.
During an investigation into the accident, Bowers submitted a chemical breath test, which resulted in a 0.20% BAC. Bowers was placed into custody for DWI and ticketed for speeding and switching lanes unsafely.
He was released on an appearance ticket, with an appearance scheduled at Romulus Town Court for a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation; the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
