An Auburn man was arrested after being found unconscious in his vehicle.
According to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, deputies found Philip Kijowski slumped over at the wheel of his truck on Turnpike Rd in the Town of Throop just before 4:00p on October 23. Narcan was administered allowing him to regain consciousness.
Kijowski was treated at Auburn Community Hospital.
Following his discharge, Kijowski was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs and traffic infractions. He was then taken to jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
