A Bath man faces felony charges after allegedly assaulting a Steuben County Assistant District Attorney in court.
57-year-old James Elward was arrested Friday after he allegedly pushed and struck the ADA in the Centralized Court, which resulted in an injury. It is also alleged that Elward acted disorderly and obstructed the court’s ability to continue.
Elward was charged with felony assault, criminal contempt, and obstructing governmental administration.
