A Lansing man is facing two grand larceny charges after stealing over a quarter of a million dollars from a Cayuga County business.
According to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, 44-year-old Scott Brenchley was arrested Monday after a month’s long investigation. He is alleged to have stolen over $250,000 over the course of a year from an unidentified area business while acting as its financial controller.
Brenchley was taken to the Cayuga County Jail to await arraignment.
