The investigation into a car accident in the town of Walworth resulted in the arrest of a Macedon woman.
Aubrey Stapleton was driving east on Mildahn Road when her car went off the road and struck a utility pole after she failed to stay on the road while rounding a curve. The 35-year-old Stapleton took part in standardized field sobriety testing which she failed, resulting in her arrest. Stapleton was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office where she refused to submit to a chemical test after being released from the hospital.
