CPR had to be administered by First Responders to a Macedon woman after she was involved in a two-car accident just before the noon hour Wednesday.
Susan Harris was southbound on State Route 21 in Canandaigua when she was rear-ended as she waited to turn left onto Duel Road. The 75-year-old Harris regained a pulse and began breathing while being airlifted by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital for internal injuries.
The driver of the other car, 32-year-old Benjamin Wilson of Rushville was taken to Thompson Hospital for chest injuries. He was ticketed for following too closely.
A portion of State Route 21 between Smith and Wells Curtis roads was closed for about an hour while investigators before accident reconstruction. The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Cheshire Fire, and Canandaigua Ambulance responded to the scene.
