A Macedon woman was arrested by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office following the investigation into an incident that happened at an Ontario County store.
30-year-old Jinny Easton is accused of stealing $624.28 worth of merchandise belonging to Target in Victor. It is also alleged Easton provided deputies with a false name when they attempted to identify her.
Easton was charged with petit larceny and false personation. She was released on an appearance ticket for Victor Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
