The investigation into a domestic incident in the town of Macedon resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old.
The charges stem from an investigation into a domestic incident where it was alleged that Zachary Rooks was involved in an altercation with a family member. The Macedon man is accused of breaking the victim’s car window in front of a 16-year-old. The approximate cost of the damage was valued at $200.
Rooks was transported to the Sheriff’s Office before being taken to the Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment. Rooks is to appear in Macedon Town Court at a later date and time for further court proceedings.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
