A Macedon man was ticketed following a one-car accident Sunday afternoon in Ontario County.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, at around 4:40 p.m., Dustin Proctor veered off the road in the area of 3720 County Road 18 in the town of Canandaigua and struck a tree.
Proctor and his child passenger did not suffer any serious injuries though the child was taken to Thompson Hospital to be checked over for precautionary measurers.
Proctor was cited for unsafe speed and failure to keep right.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
