A Wayne County man faces charges in Canandaigua following the investigation into a disturbance at a Saltonstall Street address on August 14th.
According to police, Sebastian Hinman allegedly engaged in a verbal argument with another person inside his pickup truck and refused to allow the victim to leave by locking the doors and driving from the residence. The 29-year-old Macedon man is then accused of brandishing a knife and threatening to kill the victim.
Hinman was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful imprisonment, and menacing.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
