The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Lyons resident on a warrant for failure to appear in court.
Deputies say Kathleen Kelley-Shoemaker was wanted on a petit larceny charge after not appearing in court. She was located walking on Canal Street in Lyons and taken into custody.
Kelley-Shoemaker was transported to the Wayne County Jail and held for arraignment in the Centralized Arraignment Court
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
