The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says a Lyons woman is facing charges after a domestic incident on Canal Street.
Deputies say 27-year-old Isis Tarver got into a physical altercation with a female family member on Thursday, August 28. During the fight, Tarver allegedly struck the victim in the head multiple times and damaged a door inside the home.
Investigators say the incident happened in front of a child under the age of 17.
Tarver was charged with criminal mischief (fourth degree), endangering the welfare of a child, and harassment (second degree). She was released on an appearance ticket.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
