Lyons Woman Accused of Cutting Up Another Person’s Clothes

A Wayne County woman has been charged with criminal contempt after she allegedly violated an Order of Protection on Wednesday.

According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, following a domestic incident in Lyons, Megan Potlaski allegedly damaged the victim’s clothing by cutting it up and discarding it in the trash.

Potlaski, who resides in Lyons, was also charged with criminal mischief.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
