A joint investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and the county’s Department of Social Services has resulted in the arrest of a Lyons man.
Brett Forgione was charged with petit larceny and misuse of food stamps. The 42-year-old, who is a SNAP recipient, is accused of allowing several people to use his benefits card in the amount of $541.33, which violates the agreement.
Forgione was released on an appearance ticket for Lyons Town Court.
