A traffic stop in Junius conducted by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest of a Lyons man.
James Butler, Junior, was pulled over after he was allegedly spotted speeding. Upon further investigation, Butler was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated after field sobriety tests were administered.
Butler was released on an appearance ticket for Junius Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
