The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Lyons man on a bench warrant.
Deputies arrested Joshua Barber after he allegedly failed to appear in court for the charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Barber was located and arrested on the bench warrant and was transported to the Wayne County Jail to await centralized arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
