A Lyons man is facing charges after a domestic incident that resulted in injuries and occurred in front of a child.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, 52-year-old Santo DeLork was arrested following a family trouble investigation in the Town of Lyons. Deputies say DeLork threw the victim to the ground during a verbal argument, causing injuries that required hospital treatment. The incident allegedly happened in the presence of a child under the age of 17.
DeLork was charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child. He was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office to await arraignment at CAP Court.
An order of protection was requested for the victim.
DeLork is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
