A Lyons man was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office on a petit larceny charge.
It is alleged that 24-year-old Geoffery Evans stole several items out of a car on Holley Street in Lyons early Tuesday morning.
Evans was released on an appearance ticket for Lyons Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
