State Troopers will be increasing patrols to combat drunk, impaired, and reckless driving this Memorial Day weekend.
Beginning Friday and running through Tuesday, law enforcement will be out in force to remove these drivers from the road and to conduct sobriety checkpoints.
Troopers say Memorial Day is one of the busiest days of the year for travelers and that they investigated 808 crashes last year, including four fatalities, and arrested 213 people for driving while impaired.
