Ithaca Woman Charged After Domestic Incident Involving Knife

SHARE NOW

An Ithaca woman is facing multiple charges following a domestic incident early Sunday morning.

According to the Ithaca Police Department, officers were called to the 300 block of Monroe Street just before 1 o’clock for a report of a person armed with a knife. When officers arrived, they quickly secured the scene and took 19-year-old Labrasia McMillan into custody without further incident.

McMillan was charged with menacing in the third degree, attempted assault in the third degree, and six counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

She was processed at the Ithaca Police Department and held for arraignment in Ithaca City Court.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
