The search is on for the suspect involved in a shooting that happened early Saturday morning in the city of Ithaca.
Police learned of the shooting after being called to the Cayuga Medical Center for a patient in the Emergency Room with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The shooting reportedly happened in an apartment at the Cayuga Garden Apartments in the 100 block of Chestnut Street.
The suspect is described as a 5’8 black man, weighing approximately 140 pounds who was wearing dark clothing.
