Ithaca Police Investigating Monday Morning Stabbing

Ithaca Police are investigating a Monday morning stabbing that sent one person to the hospital in critical condition.

Police say an officer responded to the area of Cecil A Malone Drive around 2:15a for the reported stabbing where they found the victim unconscious and heavily bleeding. The officer applied a tourniquet and called for EMS.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is listed as in stable but critical condition.

Police add there are five suspects: a Hispanic man, a white man with tattoos and a beard, two black men who were wearing face masks, and heavy set black woman. One of the black men was described as having a lighter skin tone and dreadlocks.

A firearm was found in the area but it’s unknown at this time if it’s connected to the incident.
