Police arrested an Ithaca man after they were called to the 500 block of South Titus Avenue in the Tompkins County City for a person who had reportedly been threatened another person with a firearm.
After detaining the suspect, 33-year-old Philip Lewis, police were able to search the home where the alleged crimes occurred and found a BB gun. Lewis was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing, both felonies.
Following his arraignment, Lewis was released to appear at a later date.
