An Ithaca man is facing felony charges for allegedly pulling a fire alarm multiple times.
Salim Dridi is also accused of throwing a brick at an exterior glass door on March 31 in the 200 block of Dryden Road.
Police say on April 2, they responded to a multi-level residential building in the same area to assist the Ithaca Fire Department. Police learned, that not only was the alarm determined to be false, but it was the fourth time the fire alarm was pulled at that location over the past several days.
Thanks to a joint investigation by Cornell University Police and the IPD, Dridi was arrested on Friday. The 25-year-old was charged with one count each of Criminal Mischief and Falsely Reporting an Incident.
Dridi was released and is expected back in court on Wednesday.
