The completion of the investigation into a one-car accident in Wayne County resulted in the arrest of a Bernhards Bay, New York man.
Following blood results from a personal injury collision that took place in July, it was determined that 68-year-old Kenneth Egleston was under the influence at the time of the collision. Egleston was arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to yield the right of way, operating without insurance and an unregistered motor vehicle.
Egleston was processed and released to appear in Sodus Town Court later to answer the charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
