An Interlaken man was arrested by the Yates County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant issued out of Starkey Town Court.
Brent Kastenhuber was taken into custody after he turned himself in to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office, stemming from a previous incident that occurred in the village of Dundee. The warrant charged Kastenhuber with criminal mischief for damaged property.
The 34-year-old was being held at the Yates County Jail pending CAP Court arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
